We are looking for a recent graduate, current senior, or recent graduate student pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. You will gain experience within Room & Board’s E‑Commerce & Digital Experience team and will support analytics initiatives that deepen our understanding of customer behavior, website performance, and digital opportunities.

Hybrid office schedule (3-4 days in office). No fully remote applicants.
You will share your talents as a Business Analytics Intern in the following ways:
Conduct an assessment of current e‑commerce performance metrics to identify the most meaningful indicators of website health, customer behavior, and revenue generation.
Review and validate assessment outcomes against documented dashboard ideation.
Develop wireframes and a visualization strategy for a new performance dashboard.
Partner with the Business Intelligence team to validate data points and ensure accuracy before and after dashboard build.
Build a working dashboard within Adobe Analytics.
Develop documentation for dashboard use, including filters and segments.
Set up scheduled reporting and provide training to key team members.
Additional educational opportunities:
One‑on‑one conversations with key partners across the business to understand the full business picture and collaborate on responsibilities.
Ad hoc analysis to support team projects and guide decisions for future digital features.
Presentation of outcomes to E‑Commerce & Digital Experience leadership and partners in Marketing and Product.
Time to visit/tour the Otsego warehouse.
Ride‑along with delivery associates to understand the full customer journey.
You will bring the following experiences & qualifications as a Business Analytics Intern:
Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or graduate program in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field; senior‑level undergraduates, recent grads, or graduate students preferred.
Demonstrated analytical thinking and data interpretation skills gained through coursework, research, or projects.
Significant experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or other data analysis platforms; proficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools; familiarity with Regex and segment‑building concepts.
Foundational experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R, and exposure to visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Interest in e‑commerce, digital, or retail analytics, including common performance metrics for web traffic, conversion, and customer behavior.
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights.
Intellectual curiosity and the ability to ask thoughtful questions and collaborate cross‑functionally.
Ability to work a hybrid schedule (3-4 days in office) or full‑time in office, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week.
