SUMMARY
Loads, unloads, moves, inspects, and receives materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties. Job function will be mainly to serve Will-Burt 312, 515, and occasionally 401 Collins buildings. Syteline training and skills will be required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of materials and products, inspecting items for conformance to company and customer specifications. Compares items packed with customer's order and other identifying data.
- Assure proper documentation is received with parts/materials, (e.g., Certificate of Compliance).
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Log received of parts/materials in the electronic records (computerized) system. Print parts tickets and affix to parts/materials. Send appropriate paperwork (pack slip) to Accounts Payable.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage areas and shipping/receiving docks.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area. Keeps operators fed with material so that they do not have to leave their workstations to get or move material.
- Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination by using crane or hoists to move load to destination. Operates forklift truck in safe manner.
- Match appropriate process documents (e.g., work order identifying outside processing for such processes as anodize, heat treat, etc.) with parts/materials.
- Complete appropriate nonconformance documents for rejected parts/materials, tag nonconforming parts/materials and moves such to a quarantine area
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on containers.
- Stages materials for machine operators according to order it will be used and move material into and out of QA inspection area.
- Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving.
- Computer experience a must. We will train on our Syteline system.
- Applicant must be extremely detail oriented with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if needed)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Class A CDL a bonus(Not required)

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must be able to pass Will-Burt Fork Truck Operator Certification.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb or balance. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
