Conducts on the job training.
Attends morning production meetings
Assists with production coordination.
Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
Reads and interprets hanging instructions, painting methods, sequences, packaging instructions, parts routings, and assigns other duties as necessary.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of products.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
Performs activities of workers supervised.
Checks equipment to ensure the pre-treatment washer operates within the required parameters.
Knowledge of the chemicals and safety procedures in handling them.
Assists in powder coat room with painters during painting operation, color changes, and other needs.
Assist in maintaining record of paint issued and inventory of supplies on hand.
Assures parts comply to paint specifications.
Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
Operates forklift, cranes, or other material handling equipment as necessary.

Quantity - Meets productivity standards; completes work in timely manner; strives to increase productivity; works quickly.

Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
