Overview

Scope of Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of billing from confirming sales orders to ensuring collection of payment.

Job Summary: Provide direct supervision and managerial oversight necessary for the billing of sales orders for five store locations.

Travel: Extensive travel required

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

Oversee all reports to ensure PAR, CMN, Stop hold, ERL rejects, Aging, convert to purchases, billing Review and all other reports pertaining to billing and collecting.
Keep up on all new LCDs and responsible for new hire and existing employee training.
Prepares all audits received and reviews with the Director
Prepares and submits all claims to third party payers, Medicaid and Medicare. Follow up as necessary.
Handles patients’ calls with staff to ensure a timely response.
Responsible to ensure all weekly billing and monthly functions are completed
Responsible for holding in house chart audits to ensure proper documentation is obtained.
Responsible to ensure all proper documents are obtained pertaining to accreditation, Medicare and Medicaid for items dispensed.
Maintains the strictest confidentiality, adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Lifting up to 40 lbs.
Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift

Qualifications

Education:

Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting or a related field

Experience:

Preferred: 3 or more years previous experience in the DME/ Respiratory/Rehab
Required: 2 years previous experience as a DME or hospital setting billing expert.
Required: 2 years previous experience Supervising or managing a teams

Special Conditions of Employment:

Drug test
Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Compensation:

$58,500=61,000 Annual

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
