Respiratory Therapist Supervisor

Overview

Scope of Responsibilities Oversee and manage all aspects of clinical respiratory to include staying up on new and current regulations. .

Job Summary: Provide direct supervision and managerial oversight necessary for clinical respiratory needs for five locations.

Travel: Extensive travel required

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

Ensure all clinical staff are current on licensures and education credits
Ensure all training on new and current hires on policies, procedures and equipment regulations
Educate new non clinical staff on respiratory related equipment and ensure proper use.
Stay current on medical policies with CMS and other insurance companies
Maintain a level of performance throughout the company to sustain accreditation with minimal deficiencies.
Assist in the budget and financial planning
Evaluate performance of job duties and coach or redirect each clinical employee
Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
Responsible for the companies inventory control policy and reeducating employees on that annually
Maintain a two way communication between upper management and store level.
Coordinate with human resources to maintain proper staffing levels which provide effective
Customer care while maintaining efficiency.

Job Requirements:

Lifting up to 40 lbs.
Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum: High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Preferred: 3 or more years previous experience in the DME/ Respiratory/Rehab
Required: 1-2 years previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
Required: 2 years previous experience Supervising or Managing a team

Special Conditions of Employment:

Drug test
Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Compensation:

$60,000=64,000 Annual

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
