Requirements

SUMMARY

Responsible for grinding sheet metal in the flat pattern (nest) and responsible for grinding enclosures. Responsible for taking care of grinding equipment and sustaining a clean work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Grinding metal using grinder machine, sander, and time saver.

· Use small hand tools such as wrenches and pneumatic grinders.

· Prepping parts prior to outside process

· Sustains 5S in workstations.

· Practices ESL’s core values on a daily basis

· Use lean practices and processes to keep department efficient

· Abide by all rules and regulations as set forth in your employee handbook

· Perform other duties/tasks as assigned

· Follow safety procedures and wear required Proper Protective Equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Stand/walk, lift/pull/push for the majority of the scheduled shift.
Hear well enough to communicate with coworkers.
Climb, stoop, and kneel.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and work with 12ft ladders.
