Position Overview:

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting functions. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain the general ledger, record transactions, and reconcile bank statements to ensure financial accuracy.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to senior management.
Tax Preparation: Prepare tax documents and ensure compliance with IRS rules and regulations.
Auditing: Conduct audits and assist outside auditors during annual reviews.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable, review and post revenue batches, and address questions about payment and expense coding.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing annual operating budgets and performance projections.
Client Invoicing: Generate and deliver invoices on schedule, ensuring timely and accurate billing.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of corporate accounting experience.

Location: Remote for a Portland candidate

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000
