ConMet's Chillicothe, OH manufacturing facility is seeking a motivated, hands-on Materials Supervisor to lead warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout the facility while supporting production schedules, customer requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Do:
- Lead daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, and material handling operations to support production and customer delivery requirements.
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, warehouse organization, FIFO practices, and inventory control processes.
- Coordinate transportation, freight, packaging, and shipping activities while identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Supervise, coach, and develop personnel to ensure a safe, productive, and high-performing team.
- Partner with Production, Purchasing, and other departments to ensure material availability and meet production schedules.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, delivery, and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, EHS standards, and customer requirements while maintaining a safe work environment.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of materials, warehouse, or logistics experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Ability to lead teams and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Excellent base salary.
- Targeted annual bonus is based on company performance to objectives during the fiscal plan year which runs from October 1 – September 30.
