Brown and Caldwell (BC) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer/Client Manager experienced in planning, permitting, design, and management of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance projects. BC has multiple projects throughout the southwestern US which includes many challenging and rewarding projects throughout Arizona and New Mexico as part of ongoing work with the Navajo Nation. This candidate will work closely with the BC team in Utah and Arizona to support the water and wastewater projects for the Navajo Nation and potentially other clients in the region. This opportunity will require periodic travel to remote locations in Arizona, S. Utah, or New Mexico and will require a mix of skills that include day to day project engineering and design, project management of multi-discipline design teams, and even regular client interaction to develop scopes of work and level of effort estimates. The candidate will work closely with others supporting the Navajo Nation in a leadership role that could grow into more regular client management. The ideal candidate would have 10-20 years of civil engineering experience in the areas of water and wastewater conveyance or treatment and have a desire to take the next step in their career through supporting team leadership, project management, and client interaction. This is a unique, challenging, and very rewarding opportunity.
Salt Lake City is preferred work location but will consider candidates based in locations within a reasonable distance to the Navajo Nation, i.e. Flagstaff AZ, Page AZ, Las Vegas, NV, Gallup NM or Phoenix AZ.
