Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee the Louisville office operations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with staff, discipline leaders, and senior management.
- Coordinate with discipline leaders, management, and corporate HR staff on personnel and staffing issues.
- Coordinate with discipline leaders and senior management to monitor workloads and ensure effective resource allocation.
- Coordinate with senior leaders and business development staff to identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Manage relationships with agencies and consultants, maintaining strong, productive partnerships.
- Engage in business development and networking activities including representing the company at industry and other events.
- Play a key role in recruiting efforts, identifying key staffing needs and actively participating in the recruitment process.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and relationships to drive regional growth.
- Promote our brand and services within the Louisville regional market.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team of civil engineering professionals.
- Uphold and promote our positive workplace culture and corporate values.
- May selectively lead major or strategic projects and may serve as the primary Project Management representative to select clients.
- Provide or ensure QA/QC on local projects and may contribute to the production of select deliverables within your operational discipline/background.
Qualifications; - Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required
- 12+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering
- Demonstrated networking and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Experience with project management and accounting software is helpful
- Exceptional organization skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
