Hiring Range
The hiring range for this position is $21.00 to $23.00 per hour. This is the pay scale range Caltrol reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Our base pay is determined by internal equity and may vary by geographic region, skills, qualifications, experience, and position requirements.
What you'll do
- Enter, update, review, and maintain customer purchase orders via Caltrol’s ERP system (IFS) and into external vendor business systems.
- Proactively maintain assigned open orders reports.
- Create and process RMA’s (return material authorizations).
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure both customers’ and Caltrol’s requirements are met.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all tasks.
- Manage post-order activity to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Deliver excellent customer service by providing a positive customer experience through task ownership, accountability, consistency, and timely follow-up.
- Back up for the receptionist as needed.
What you'll bring
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- At least one year in customer service or previous experience in an order management position.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support business demands.
- Data entry experience in ERP systems is preferred but not required (We will train!)
- Some knowledge of manufacturing is a plus!

Work Environment/Expected Hours
This is an on-site, Monday-Friday, 40 hours-per-week standard office environment position with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer and a telephone. Occasional overtime may be required to meet business needs.
