FOODSERVICE OPERATIONS ANALYST
Summary
The Foodservice Operations Analyst combines restaurant operations, process and systems knowledge to manage our Order Management System (OMS) and Menu Development System (MDS), both of which are pivotal in managing menu product recipes, tracking inventory depletion, and optimizing retailer profitability. You will collaborate with and provide operational assistance to internal and external stakeholders, including the Retail Technology and Retail Training & Operations teams, to support retailer profitability. Success in this position requires a detail-oriented and collaborative team player who excels in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Menu Product & Inventory Management
- Support process flow of new menu product and inventory item development.
- Manage and provide guidance to others on the Back of House functionality within our Order Management System (OMS) and PFS Portal.
- Maintain and manage menu products, recipes, pricing, and inventory items within the OMS, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor and provide guidance on product depletion and inventory usage.
- Provide ad-hoc food cost analysis.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of our Menu Development System (MDS).
- Collaborate with quality and operation teams to input and update menu items, recipes, and nutritional information into the system.
- Lead or participate in projects aimed at enhancing the MDS functionality or implementing new features.
Operational, Administrative, and Cross-Functional Support
- Work closely with various teams including Operations, Marketing, Accounting, Purchasing, and Research & Development (R&D) to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Troubleshoot back-end issues of the OMS system with Retail Technology and provide operational support to ensure seamless functionality.
- Assist the Retail Training & Operations Team with maintaining standard operational procedural documents, training aids, and new store opening schedules.
- Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and events as required.
- Collaborate to configure systems and solutions that meet their specific requirements and exceed expectations.

- 5-7 years restaurant leadership experience
- BS/BA in Accounting, Business, or Information Systems – preferred
- Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS)and back-of-house systems, particularly TASK, is advantageous
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience with analyzing data
- Strong customer service orientation, organizational, and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented and excellent follow through
- Must be dependable and able to work independently with little supervision as well as with a team of individuals
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Will typically work in an office environment for 8 or more hours daily
- Job requires minimal travel (up to 10 days annually)
