Position Summary:

The Director, IT Operations will lead and oversee all aspects of the firm’s IT operations, including infrastructure, security, business applications, and support services. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing IT operations in a complex, multi-office, and hybrid work environment. The Director will work closely with the CTO to ensure that IT strategies align with the firm’s business objectives, ensuring system availability, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the IT Operations team, including infrastructure, support services, and business applications.
Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the firm’s business goals.
Oversee the IT operations budget, working closely with the CTO to establish and report on financial metrics.
Manage IT infrastructure investments and endpoint inventory and refresh cycles.
Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of the firm’s IT infrastructure across multiple offices.
Lead M&A IT due diligence and integration processes.
Develop and maintain business continuity plans, including disaster recovery, incident response, and tabletop exercises.
Oversee the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Plan and execute office location moves, ensuring seamless IT setup and operation.
Foster a culture of service excellence within the IT department.
Establish and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure IT services meet business needs.
Establish and enforce IT policies, security frameworks, and controls.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of experience as an IT infrastructure architect or engineer
10+ years in an IT Operations leadership role.
Extensive experience in leading IT due diligence and integration for M&A.
Proven track record in business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and incident response.
Experience managing multi-office IT infrastructure in a hybrid work environment.
Strong understanding of GRC principles and experience implementing security frameworks.
Excellent project management skills with experience in managing large-scale IT projects.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish relationships with business stakeholders.
Experience with Jira and other project management tools is a plus.
