Gibson Internship Program

As an intern at Gibson, you’ll work side by side with top-notch professionals, gaining real-world experience and insight of working for an independent insurance broker.

The goal is to offer you broad experiences, thereby assisting you with the options available for your future career path. Additionally, a successful internship can pave the way toward employment with Gibson after graduation!

The ideal candidate for these positions will be available to work 30-40 hours per week in the summer months, will have completed their junior year in college, and have completed the basic level courses in Risk Management or Business while working towards a Bachelor’s degree. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must.

Our internship program will run from May 27 through August 1, 2025.

You’ll gain hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects with guidance from a mentor and other members of our team.

Duties And Responsibilities

Review and audit current policies
Prepare client presentations and communications
Provide input on client presentations and client lifecycle process
Learn and apply risk management techniques
Maintain client records

Requirements

Working towards a bachelor’s degree - Business or Risk Management major
Live in or near Indianapolis, IN
3.0 GPA or higher
Excellent communication skills
Enjoy working in a team environment
Love digging into all the details
Self-starter who tackles projects head on
Enjoy developing skills and learning something new each day
