We are looking for an in-person Copywriter to join our marketing department at Life’s Abundance as we expand into the South Slope district of Asheville! In this role, based in our Asheville office, you’ll create compelling content across various mediums—web, email, social media, newsletters, product labels, and more—that drives engagement and communicates why Life’s Abundance is different. We have great stories to tell about our products, our people, and the positive impact we make on the lives of pets and people. We need someone who can help bring those stories to life for both internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities include

Producing written materials in a variety of formats, including print, digital and web, social, video script, broadcast, blog, and conceptual write-ups that reflect the company’s voice and tone
Working closely with internal teams to participate in all stages of the creative process, from brainstorming to conceptual development to execution
Staying on top of trends through business/industry monitoring and outside resources
Acting as liaison with external blog contributors

What will make you successful

3+ years of relevant experience, ideally in health/wellness or lifestyle. A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is a plus
Ability to craft writing for various mediums that breathes life into healthy living for both people and pets- copy that engages and gets them to lean in and take action
Strong copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to produce written materials in a variety of formats, including print, digital and web, social, video script, broadcast, blog, and conceptual write-ups that reflect the company’s voice and tone
Snappy headlines and social content that includes SEO language
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
Ability to manage and work with multiple projects at various stages of development
Interest in consumer engagement trends and ability to apply creativity to marketing strategy
Outgoing, hands-on, and proactive in nature with the ability to meet deadlines
Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or similar Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

8-hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
No weekends and no nights
