We are searching for a passionate, hands-on Center Manager to lead the charge with a collaborative approach, delivering unforgettable experiences for pets and their families. We currently have over 80 locations in twenty-six states coast-to-coast and have been in business for 30 years.

Lead the Way:

Be the trusted leader for our furry guests and their people. Ensure pets feel safe, cared for, and loved at every moment.
Oversee daily care routines like feeding, medicating, grooming, exercise, and playtime—creating happy tails and wagging smiles (must be able to lift large dogs).
Keep meticulous records to guarantee each pet’s health and behavior is closely monitored.

Set the Standard for Excellence:

Enforce safety protocols and maintain a best-in-class boarding facility.
Handle emergencies with ease in collaboration with your District Manager.
Stay ahead of regulations and ensure every corner of the facility meets or exceeds Best Friends Pet Care standards.

Inspire and Empower Your Team:

Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of 10+ dedicated animal care professionals in a positive work culture that celebrates open communication.
Effectively serve as a liaison between frontline team members and headquarters staff, facilitating clear communication and collaboration.
Build schedules that balance excellence in pet care with budget efficiency.
Create a positive work culture that celebrates growth, teamwork, and open communication.

Delight Our Clients:

Deliver exceptional service that leaves pet parents raving about their experience.
Build lasting client relationships that foster loyalty, referrals, and a sense of community.
Encourage feedback and champion ways to elevate the client experience.

Keep the Business Thriving:

Take charge of payroll, budgets, and financial reporting in collaboration with your District Manager and full-time administrative support team.
Manage inventory and coordinate purchasing to ensure supplies are always stocked.
Collaborate with a creative marketing team to elevate community outreach, and partnerships to promote services and boost visibility.

Be the Multitasking Maestro:

Seamlessly juggle responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Solve problems and adapt to challenges with professionalism and confidence.
Keep everything running smoothly without letting a single detail slip through the cracks.

Why You’ll Love This Opportunity:

Turn your passion for animals into a rewarding career in pet care.
Lead a thriving facility where no two days are the same.
Work alongside an amazing team in an environment filled with wagging tails and happy purrs.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

A bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).
At least 2 years of management experience overseeing a team of 10+ employees(required).
Hands-on animal care experience and a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and welfare practices.
A proactive, organized, and adaptable mindset in a bustling environment.
Stellar communication skills and a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and lead.
Financial management expertise, including payroll, budgets, and expense control.
Desire to continue education and training with a dynamic pet care organization.
