Responsibilities

We are currently seeking to add a Staff Consultant with a strong industry application-based background in mechanical engineering and medical device design engineering. The individual must possess strong problem-solving skills, client interaction and aptitude for working in a consulting environment.

Play a player / coach role with SES staff.
Assist in managing relationships and expectations with clients in order to maintain a successful consulting practice.
Interface with customers, prepare technical proposals and reports, and work either individually or on a team.
Work as a consultant to help grow and further the initiatives of the Medical Device Practice.
Provide technical knowledge and expertise in the medical device market.
Provide direct mentoring and oversight of staff.
Directly assist clients and staff in the development of process scopes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifcation:

Masters or Ph.D. degree from an accredited university required (advanced degree requirement can be waived if applicant has 20+ years of experience with a medical device manufacturer).Superior communications skills (both written and verbal)
Demonstrated ability to work both on an individual basis and on project teams.
Must have a working knowledge of medical device manufacturing, design methods and associated equipment, standards, etc.
