This role plays a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to both employee owners and leadership. Responsibilities encompass the entire employee life cycle, providing consultative guidance and implementing strategic HR initiatives that contribute to the success of our ESOP-driven mission.
This role leads the activities performed by the Talent Specialist and is focused on providing great experience for our fellow employee owners on each stop along their journey at Al. Neyer. Together you will work with hiring leaders to identify talent needs and develop strategic staffing acquisition plans that will lead the best candidates to our incredible job opportunities. You will lead the onboarding, training coordination and new hire check-ins that set the foundational success in motion for our new employee owners.
Staying connected with employee owners and establishing their individual development plans is a fun aspect of this role. Keeping a pulse on the needs of our teams and leaders will be important for identifying training and establishing plans for talent development in collaboration with leaders. You will lead training and development efforts and work with outside partners that maximize the effectiveness of our talent development offerings with the goal of retaining high performing individuals with deep career trajectories.
As far as technical competencies go, you will need to be very strong in MS Office, especially Excel and PPT. Demonstrated proficiency with creating presentations and utilizing AI tools while distilling important employee owner data is crucial for this role. Ideally you have some experience with a learning management tool and familiarity with the Paycor suite of products.

Effectively leading our talent acquisition and onboarding protocols that are measured with new hire success ratings and high and steady retention rates above 90%.

Our team of 5 is led by our VP, Talent, and teammates include, our benefits and compensation team, a talent specialist, and our facilities coordinator.
