As a Senior Microsoft 365 and Windows Server Systems Engineer, you'll report directly to our Director of Technology Services and join a 12± person team comprised of skilled desktop engineers, support technicians, systems engineers, network engineers, project managers, and interns. You'll take the lead in managing and optimizing our Microsoft 365 and Windows server environments and help maintain and support our broader infrastructure, including servers, storage, and backups. In this role, you’ll dive deep into understanding our business and what we do, bringing your passion for new technology to the forefront. You’ll explore innovative ways to apply these technologies in our environment, helping to drive our initiatives forward.

4600 Olson Memorial Highway, Golden Valley, MN (off Hwy 100 & 55)
This role works 2 days in the office with 3 days remote per week. On-call requirement. This is not a remote position.
You’ll share your talents in the following ways as a Senior Microsoft 365 and Windows Server Systems Engineer:
- Manage and maintain our Windows server environment, ensuring optimal performance, security and reliability.
- Manage, secure and optimize our Microsoft 365 services and applications including hybrid Exchange/Active Directory, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.
- Serve as the technical expert for Microsoft 365 solutions partnering with both IT and business partners to understand new features and updates, enhance productivity, support and security.
- Assist with implementing data governance and retention policies.
- Manage integrations such as SSO, MFA and third-party security products.
- Provide technical expertise to the broader Information Technology teams, including assisting in incidents and outages.
- Support systems engineer partners with planning, design and support of our server, backup and storage infrastructure.

Additionally, you'll bring the following experience and demonstrated skills as a Senior Microsoft 365 and Windows Server Systems Engineer:
- Demonstrated extensive experience managing and configuring Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Active Directory, Entra ID and Windows domains.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Administration, including the design, configuration and maintainance of Microsoft Exchange servers (2016 or newer).
- Experience managing and configuring third-party security products for advanced email security, threat detection, multi-factor authentification (MFA), and data loss prevention, with a preference for Cisco solutions.
- Experience in leading projects, from planning and execution to monitoring and reporting.
- Possess a solid infrastructure background that includes servers, Windows Server OS, PowerShell scripting, and VMware, with familiarity in Linux being advantageous.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Azure cloud-based computing and related concepts.
- A strong understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting skills including DNS, IP, subnetting, and DHCP.
- Automation experience required, with a preference for Ansible.
