Summary Of Responsibilities
As the Investor Relations Associate and member of our Real Estate team, you will be responsible for providing support in all areas of equity and investor relations including efficient and thorough onboarding of new investors, execution and tracking of capital requirements in our portfolio, and assisting with day-to-day inquiries from our investors. Although other duties and responsibilities may arise from time to time, the essential job functions of the role are listed below. The role provides an excellent opportunity to learn our business from the inside out and will coordinate with key stakeholders in the organization such as Development, Legal, Marketing, and various departments within the Real Estate team. This role is both internal and external facing.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain data integrity in the investor portal to ensure accurate and up to date investor information including changes to contact and address information, payment preferences, and investor access to the investor relations portal.
- Support the investor relations team in capitalizing projects by issuing notices, tracking equity requirements, and recording capital calls.
- Coordinate with internal teams on equity requirements including the organization and execution of treasury management requests and investor distributions.
- Enter distribution details into the investor relations portal and accurately record payments as they are processed.
- Manage and maintain accurate investor records by closing inactive investments, merging duplicate accounts and contacts, updating payment instructions and account information for investment entities, and ensuring asset details are updated once projects have been closed.
- While maintaining a high level of professionalism, engage with investors via inbound and outbound calls, events, webinars, and other investor meetings.
- Monitor investor inquiries and deliver efficient and responsive resolutions.
- Craft marketing materials in support of our current offerings in addition to ad-hoc investment presentations which include pitch books, opportunity overviews, and other various external facing materials.
- Assist with coordination and preparation of investor reports, presentations, and communications, including quarterly and annual fund reports, call presentations, case studies, meeting presentations, and ad-hoc reports.
- Aid in annual tax reporting, including record retention, document delivery, and communication to investors.
- Assist with onboarding and subscribing to new investors in the investor relations portal and coordinate execution of documentation in addition to accurate record keeping.
- Enhance investor engagement and relations by planning and participating in events, roadshows, webinars, and other investor meetings.
Position Requirements & Desirable Traits
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 1-3 years of experience in real estate, finance, or a related business function.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, listening, and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments.

Safety Hazard of the Job
Normal safety hazards associated with office work, and with occasional observational visits to construction sites.
Physical Demands
The moderate physical effort required to sit, bend, stoop, lift, walk and climb. Maximum unassisted lift is 70 lbs. Average lift is less than 10 lbs. Requires ability to use a keyboard and monitor. Also requires the ability to communicate verbally, both in person and on the telephone. May require some travel by car/truck.
Environmental Requirements
Moderate to extreme outdoor conditions. Above average noise levels. Protective equipment is required. Average inside office environment. Average office noise levels. No personal protective equipment is required. Ambient temperature is between 68F and 76F.
