Production Manager

Description

Summary: Perform tasks such as taking inventory and making supply orders. Drives business results to ensure that products, policies, and procedures meet Air Hydro Power quality standards and daily operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Consistently meeting and exceeding production deadlines through strategic planning, effective resource allocation, and meticulous coordination of workflows to optimize efficiency and minimize lead times.

Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.

Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.

Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.

Effectively managing priority of customer orders.

Estimates cost and prepare budgets.

Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.

Assists in the development of policies and procedures that promote LEAN standards.

Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency.

Schedule and identify LEAN and Safety related training needs (CPR, Forklift, etc.). Assist in developing training programs when necessary.

Assist with ISO accreditation, documentation, and development of standard processes.

Issues written and oral instructions.

Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

Track and ensure products and procedures meet ISO standards and identify problem areas that need to be resolved within the warehouse.

Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.

Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.

Follows safety programs, policies, and procedures within department

Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.

Adjusts errors and complaints.

Prepares written reports to address specific issues resulting from corrective actions or vendor non-conformance.

Assists to eliminate or control any at-risk behaviors or conditions that may result in injury, property damage, or violation of company policy.

Requirements

Proven experience as production manager

Deep knowledge of production management.

Attention to detail.

Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach

Proficient in MS Office and P21.

Excellent organizational skills and a results driven approach
