Accounting Assistant

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our long standing client is a mid-sized manufacturing organization. They have a solid team, with very little turnover, coupled with their steady business (their product is ALWAYS in demand!) Culturally speaking, this team is very low-key, low-drama and down-to-Earth. They're looking for an individual who is a team-player with a good sense of humor to join their small team, which CFS has placed most of.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT:

Responsible for obtaining the rebates backup documents from customers & calculating rebates based on their report submission.
Responsible for checking the aging and requesting backup for any deduction pretending to rebates.
Responsible for collecting any differences generated by the rebates.
Responsible for the Annual and Quarterlies rebates, in addition to special programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS in Business, ideally in Accounting/Finance
Solid technical proficiency
Understanding of Accounts Receivable process
Good sense of humor!
