Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Security Administrator - Associate desiring to advance their Industrial Security career to assist the Dayton FSO and Security Team in the administration of security operations for the MTSI Dayton Industrial Security program under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to:
- General: Assists the FSO and Security Team in security administration and compliance in accordance with MTSI Security Policies, Processes, and Procedures; 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM); Director of National Intelligence Directives; DoD Manual 5205.07; and other applicable regulations, guidelines, and procedures
- Personnel Security: Assists Security Team in managing personnel security clearances and investigations;
assists Security Team with on-Boarding of new employees and required termination activities for departing employees; assists in badging and fingerprinting activities
- Facility and Physical Security: Assists Security Team in day-to-day secure facility administration to include managing access controls, badging, and intrusion detection systems. Assists in maintaining secure area accreditation in accordance with applicable governing requirements and policies
- Document and Asset Controls: Assists Security Team in maintaining accountability and control of classified documents and secure equipment (i.e., COMSEC, GSA Containers, etc.); assists in the management and maintenance of secure containers and locks
- Security Operations Support: Assists in maintaining security information management systems, security program records, self-inspections, compliance assessments, data calls, and related information as required
- Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) Program: Assists in providing Initial and Refresher Security training; Counterintelligence Awareness; Operations Security (OPSEC), and other specialized training as required
- Understands the need for strict adherence to directives and policies established to safeguard national defense information
- Maintains strict confidentiality of company proprietary information personally identifiable information (PII), Controlled Unclassified information (CUI), etc.
OBSERVE ALL LAWS, REGULATIONS, AND OTHER APPLICABLE OBLIGATIONS WHEREVER AND WHENEVER BUSINESS IS CONDUCTED ON BEHALF OF THE COMPANY BEGINNING SKILLS:

- Proactively manage professional develop. Seek-out relevant/beneficial MTSI internal training classes (e.g. technical, proposal, contracts)
- Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
- Knowledge and understanding of security principles and government security regulations (i.e., 32 CFR Part 117 “NISPOM” Rule, DoD Manuals 5205.07 Volumes 1-4 and ICD 705, etc.)
- Familiarity with the DCSA Portal (NISP Central Access Information Security Systems - NCAISS). National Industrial Security System (NISS); Defense Industrial Security Systems (DISS); Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) System
- Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel or MS Access
- US Citizen
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree, or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 1-3 years of Security related experience
