Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage digital engineering projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
Innovate and integrate advanced technologies, particularly in AI/ML and data analytics, to enhance project outcomes.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Support proposal development and contribute to business growth initiatives by identifying new opportunities and solutions.

Additional Responsibilities - Analyze system level digital engineering requirements and develop software development plans and software requirements documents (SRD).

- Develop software test and validation plans, including simulation-based testing and functional testing

- Assist with strategies to ensure cybersecurity compliance including certification for Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 140-3, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), and National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) /Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 4+.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

Experience: Over 10 years of experience in digital engineering or software development.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in developing AI/ML software tools.
Experience with software tools for data analytics.
Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to innovate.

Additional Information:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
0-20% travel expected for on-site project meetings, technical assessments, and client engagements.
Utilizes a hybrid work model to allow for a flexible work environment supporting productivity and collaboration: 80% remote work capability, 20% in-office presence in Huntsville, Alabama.
