GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for all aspects of corporate security and may also serve as Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), Information System Security Manager (ISSM), Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO), and COMSEC Manager. This position will serve as a security specialist and security advisor, providing oversight and management of multiple security disciplines (information, personnel, industrial, physical, computer, operations, and communications security) in support of PLEXSYS’ Corporate and contract needs. The FSO will work closely with all roles in PLEXSYS to manage the security aspects of their systems or programs. The FSO will work in close collaboration with the government representatives to ensure compliance with applicable security guidance or laws and regulations. The FSO will coordinate with local Advanced Programs Offices (APO) and other offices, as required. The FSO will assist the Corporate Information Assurance Manager with all delegated duties necessary to maintain the Corporate Facility Clearance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish and maintain procedures for facility security
Maintain the corporate Facility Security Clearance
Maintain Closed Area Security
Submit and maintain Personnel Security Clearances
Grant and Monitor Access
Visit Requests – DISS
Foreign Visit Requests – DCSA International
Shipment of Sensitive Material
Destruction of Classified Material
Employee Security Training
Foreign Ownership Control and Influence Program (FOCI)
Self Inspections and Outside Audits
NATO Control Point
Contractual Security DD254

COMSEC Manager

Maintain COMSEC account in accordance with NSA regulations
Oversee all COMSEC accounting and inventory

Contractor Program Security Officer

· Provides a secure environment to facilitate successful development and execution of Special Access Programs (SAP)

· Provides specialized training to include Security Education and Training Program, event driven and refresher training

· Ensures adherence to applicable laws and SAP policies and requirements

· Coordinates SAP security matters with the PSO, Government Program Manager (GPM) or Contractor Program Manager (CPM) respectively

· Ensures annual self-inspections are conducted and submitted to the PSO with a corrective action plan

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of five years’ experience in Security Management.
Specialized Security training, knowledge, or experience with DoD and Air Force security guidelines.
Experience with DoD Security Regulations and Policies.
Experience and knowledgeable of procedures contained in DoD Regulation 5220.22-M, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
Extensive knowledge in security, and awareness of potential security threats and risks.
Ability to acquire clearance at the highest level

DESIRED

· Extensive training or experience with automated information systems standards

· Specialized training, education or experience with COMSEC control and protection procedures

· Information Assurance Technical (IAT)/Information Assurance Management (IAM) certification IAW DOD 8570
