What You Get To Do

The Youth Apprentice will work in several areas of the shop and will be assigned different tasks including but not limited to:

Assist in various departments
- Tool Room
- Gaging
- Inspection
- Shipping & Receiving
- Shop Floor
Machine parts.
Perform basic inspection (Micrometer, Caliper, thread gauges, etc.).
Follow 5S procedures.
Follow all safety procedures and protocol.
Additional duties as assigned.

What You Need

Education:

Must be 16 years of age and finishing his/her sophomore or junior year of high school.

Skills & Other Qualifications:

Math skills (decimals, fractions, measurement, logic) - required
Good Work Ethic - required
Problem Solving - required
Proficient with hand tools - required
Mechanically inclined - required
Ability to get up early every day and be to work on time - every day - required
Ability to take direction and learn by doing - required
