Job Description

Schedule

4:00-6:00am, start time, includes rotating Saturdays and Sundays

The Role

The Receiver will assist in a variety of duties including picking, replenishing, daily and month end inventory counts, stock adjustments, facilitating product transfers and cycle counts to audit and resolve inventory discrepancies and clean-up of broken cases. Must have sensory capabilities to avoid accidents as warehouse environment involves fast moving forklifts and power jack equipment.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Receive and check incoming product and temperatures
Properly identify product and ensure quality of product
Offload trucks using equipment such as forklift or pallet jack
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhering to food safety regulations, follows company safety policies and procedures

Required Skills and Experience

1 year riding pallet jack and stand-up forklift experience preferred
Inventory Control experience a plus
Must be able to identify produce quality, count and have basic math skills.
Experience with Power Warehouse(AS400) and RF scanners
Ability to work independently, and be self-motivated to complete daily tasks with minimal supervision and multi-task
Must have excellent organization skills and be detail oriented
Ability to work well with others by building cooperative working relationships with other departments
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, 35-45 degrees
Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
Ability to communicate with supervisors and staff challenges in receiving
Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
