The Human Resources Intern will provide hands-on support for the Rotochopper HR team while gaining practical experience in core HR functions. This internship is ideal for a junior or senior college student interested in Human Resources, Business, or a related field who is looking to build real-world experience in a professional environment. The intern will assist with administrative projects, Learning Management Systems, recruiting, and onboarding activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the scanning, organization, and maintenance of employee and human resources documentation, supporting the ongoing transition from paper files to a fully electronic records management system.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a new Learning Management System (LMS) by supporting data entry, administration, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Support recruitment activities, including posting job openings, tracking applicants, and coordinating interview logistics
- Assist with onboarding tasks such as preparing new hire packets, scheduling orientation, and updating employee records
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed
- Other HR-related duties and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HR systems or LMS platforms is a plus.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
