SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Manager will lead strategic inventory optimization and oversee and execute all warehousing activities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and overall operational excellence. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of successfully managing all warehouse related activities including inventory control, shipping and receiving, along with a deep understanding of ERP systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage warehouse activities to ensure receipt, storage, and timely processing of orders to appropriate destinations in correct quantities.
• Ensure seamless coordination within the team to optimize inventory processes and on-time shipments.
• Assess team performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) metrics.
• Motivate and inspire team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Leverage your experience with an ERP system to enhance inventory management processes.
• Maintain efficient inventory control, which includes monitoring stock levels, conducting regular cycle count audits, implementing inventory management systems, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This ensures that materials are available for manufacturing when needed and that finished goods are dispatched promptly to support customer orders.
• Manage bin locations within the ERP system for accurate stock tracking.
• Work cross-functionally to build best-in-class warehousing and logistics systems, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure timely electronic recording of inventory transactions, oversee physical inventories and cycle counts for accurate counts and financial valuation, and recommend and implement projects to lead, track, control, and monitor inventories.
• Create and manage reports to monitor team and daily operations.
• Conduct team training as required.
• Adhere to company rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Uphold 5S principles in workstations to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
• Practice our company's core values daily.
• Perform other assigned duties and tasks as needed.
• Oversee the warehouse personnel team and provide coaching and mentorship to team members.
• Communicates expectations and goals for each team member.
• Identifies individual strengths and areas for improvement, offering constructive feedback to enhance overall performance.
• Perform other assigned duties and tasks as needed to contribute to overall operational efficiency.

• Proficient with basic computer skills
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong supervisor skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Proven experience in supervising inventory management, shipping, and receiving in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably EPICOR.
• Strong leadership, motivational skills, the ability to organize people and processes and strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or relevant business equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive Warehouse and Inventory Management experience
• Previous experience in collaborating across multiple departments.
