Job Summary:

As the DevSecOps Engineer, you will design, secure, and operate on‑premises CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment platforms for enterprise and AI‑enabled applications. This role focuses on embedding security, reliability, and compliance into the software delivery lifecycle within customer‑managed, air‑gapped, or restricted environments. You will work closely with application engineers, AI platform teams, security stakeholders, and DevOps partners to ensure software is built, packaged, deployed, and operated securely across on‑prem and hybrid environments.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines for on-prem enterprise applications
- Embedding security scanning and controls into build and release workflows
- Supporting on-prem deployment models, including customer-managed servers and restricted networks
- Managing and hardening Windows and Linux environments used for build, test, and production
- Implementing and enforcing identity, access control, and user management in on-prem systems
- Supporting secure packaging, versioning and distribution of software (installers, services, artifacts)
- Collaborating with engineering teams to improve build reliability, deployment consistency, and runtime stability
- Operating and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting on-prem services
- Performing vulnerability remediation, dependency updates, and security hardening
- Supporting incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements
- Establishing and maintaining DevSecOps standards, guardrails, and documentation
- Partnering with security and compliance teams to support audits and internal security reviews

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, IT, or any related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience with on-prem CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps Server or similar)
- Experience implementing DevSecOps practices across build, release, and deployment pipelines
- Proficiency with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience managing and supporting Windows‑based, production on‑prem systems, including security hardening, patching, and application/infrastructure security practices (e.g., OWASP).
- Hands‑on experience with secrets management, certificates, encryption, and the use of artifact repositories for controlled software distribution in on‑prem environments.
- Experience with containerization and service‑based deployments (e.g., Docker), along with familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code concepts and tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and operational problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience supporting AI platforms or data‑intensive systems, including working in Agile or cross‑functional engineering teams and regulated or compliance‑driven environments (with exposure to compliance frameworks).
- Strong PowerShell automation experience for build, installation, service management, and operational tasks, plus hands‑on experience with installer packaging/deployment (InstallShield, MSI/EXE).
- Experience with software composition analysis, vulnerability remediation, and familiarity with Windows services, scheduled tasks, and system‑level integrations.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) in hybrid or enterprise contexts is a plus.
