Marketing and Communication Specialist II

Position Purpose

To enhance the KLJ brand through the development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner.

Essential Functions

Develop and execute social media and marketing strategies.
Create engaging content and manage brand consistency.
Analyze data to optimize marketing effectiveness.
Coordinate with internal teams for implementation efforts.

Responsibilities

Social Media Management:
- Plan, implement, manage, and track social strategies across KLJ’s social media platforms.
- Create and schedule engaging content, including posts, videos, and stories.
- Monitor social media trends and leverage them for brand promotion.
- Engage and respond to followers through comments and messages.
Content Creation and Branding:
- Ensure a consistent brand image and voice across all marketing channels.
- Collaborate with the graphic design team to create visually appealing marketing materials (posts, ads, banners, etc.).
- Research, write, prepare, proof, and submit regional and national company and employee awards for brand recognition.
- Write and publish articles, scripts, advertisements, etc. that align with the Company’s strategic direction.

Marketing Strategies:
- Assist in the development and execution of various company and market-specific campaigns.
- Collaborate with various team members and third parties to ensure full optimization of the Company’s website, including effective use of keywords and SEO.
- Use analytics tools to track campaign performance and user engagement and adjust strategies to optimize results.
Internal Communication:
- Provide internal communication and public relations support.
- Interact and communicate effectively with all offices, business lines, and employees to provide responsive services based on their needs.
- Assist in event and conference planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or like degree, 5 years minimum experience. Applicable experience may be substituted in lieu of formal education.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate motorized vehicles

Sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

The employee must:

Be able to walk on uneven terrain up to ten miles per day.
Frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
