Brief Description

Job Summary:

Assist with coordinating and supervising construction work for quality and timely delivery of a project.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Assist in preparing work schedules and assignments.
Assist in communicating and enforcing safety procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities

Assist with scheduling subcontractors and inspections.
Assist in verifying and maintaining quality of work.
Assist in verifying and maintaining safe job site and safety compliance of subcontractors.
Assist with daily/weekly communication with subcontractors, Project Managers, Bobbitt team members and owners.
Attend and participate in all job-related meetings
Complete detailed daily job logs as directed by Manager
Complete daily safety checklist as directed by Manager
Complete daily photos as directed by Manager
Complete Toolbox talks weekly as directed by Manager
Any other assigned duties.

Required Skills/Abilities

Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people in different roles.
Extremely detail-oriented.
Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans.
An understanding of legal requirements relating to construction and building sites.
An understanding of quality building practices.
Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them.

Education And Experience

In the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
