In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform validation of Ovation Digital Twin and its Tools which represent mathematical models of plant equipment for power generation plant simulators
- Prepare heat balance done for the project and coach newer member on this skill
- Prepare boiler, Balance of Plant, Main Steam, Air & Flue Gas, gas & steam turbine, supercritical & electrical modelling as required for the various test scenarios to be executed.
- Provide support to Ovation Digital Twin project team
- Perform smoke test, first pass test and regression testing along with team and report findings.
- Design and enhance test scenarios and test cases for different applications
- Develop and maintain Hardware/Virtual test setups that are part of automated/manual test environment
- Log defects in project defined defect tracking tool
- Read and follow relevant project engineering practice and engineering standards documents
- Collaborate and coordinate with developers and other testers

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Coal/Combined Cycle Power Plant operation/modeling
- Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Experience with various testing methodologies (functional testing, system testing, compatibility testing, performance testing)
- Knowledge and experience with agile development/testing methodologies
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree in mechanical/chemical/electrical engineering
- Experience ISTQB certificate at Foundation level
- Experience performing stoichiometry calculation for various chemical reactions (for example fuel combustion)
- Knowledge of Distributed Control system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
