We are seeking an Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our Industrial team. This team provides construction site surveys, MEP design, troubleshooting, and creative solutions to unique demands within the industrial, semiconductor, and high-tech construction environment. This role is located in Austin, TX and has a flexible hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

P&ID development in conjunction with the Mechanical and Process teams
Sequence of Operations development in conjunction with the Mechanical and Process teams
Instrument selections and datasheets
Wiring specifications
Wiring diagrams
Wire/conduit schedules
Controls plans
Controls cabinet layouts
Coordination of electrical for power to controls devices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Significant experience in the MEP consulting industry, preferably in industrial projects
Experience managing the MEP project workflow from defining requirements to issuing deliverables
Excellent multi-tasking capabilities across multiple projects coupled with exceptional communication and client relationship-building skills
Ability to maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail on various projects
Working knowledge of building codes, design specifications, and construction administration
Successful management of large and complex projects
Demonstrated leadership on projects and with staff

Desired Qualifications

Design Flammable/Toxic Gas Monitoring systems, liquid leak detection, and other HPM monitoring systems
