Our Production Supervisor will work closely with Plant Leadership and be responsible for leading and managing manufacturing employees in alignment with company directives, policies, and procedures. This role ensures production goals are met with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage manufacturing employees in accordance with company policies and directives Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training; assign tasks and monitor performance Communicate job expectations and provide coaching, counseling, and performance appraisals Review production orders and schedules to plan department operations Monitor production timelines to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer products Evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements (OSHA, environmental, etc.) Facilitate training for new and existing employees on safety, quality, and productivity standards Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to recommend capital improvements for safety and efficiency Enforce safety protocols, work rules, and housekeeping standards Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred (commensurate experience considered) Experience with manufacturing systems; Epicor experience a plus Ability to read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, technical procedures, and regulations Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to interpret technical instructions So, what do you get out of working at Leer, Inc. beyond a friendly work environment and the best teammates around?
