Summary Of Responsibilities
Merus is seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise Systems & Data Transformation to play a central role in connecting our finance and operational systems through strong data governance, enterprise reporting, and systems integration. This position will lead initiatives that improve data quality, reporting architecture, analytics, and business processes to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

In this role, you will serve as the enterprise owner of finance and operational reporting architecture, analytics strategy, data governance, and systems integration while helping optimize enterprise processes through technology and AI. You will collaborate closely with finance, operations, IT, and executive leadership to strengthen reporting capabilities, improve forecasting, enhance operational visibility, and support enterprise growth.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of enterprise systems, including Yardi and the company's corporate ERP platforms, with a focus on scalable reporting, workflow governance, operational visibility, and executive decision support.
- Serve as the enterprise owner for finance and operational reporting architecture, data governance, systems integration, and analytics strategy.
- Establish enterprise-wide standards for financial and operational reporting, KPI governance, dashboard architecture, and data ownership.
- Partner with business leaders across the organization to understand reporting needs and translate complex business questions into meaningful dashboards, financial models, reporting tools, and analytics.
- Develop and enhance executive-level and self-service reporting solutions using Power BI and other reporting technologies to improve visibility into financial performance, forecasting, operational trends, and business risks.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, reporting quality, governance, and scalability across the organization.
- Translate business requirements into standardized finance and operational processes, internal controls, data structures, and reporting frameworks that support the company's continued growth.
- Support development of financial forecasting models used for annual valuation purposes by coordinating inputs across development, construction, operations, and corporate functions.
- Develop financial models, benchmarking tools, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses to support strategic planning, capital allocation, and executive decision-making.
- Partner with operations, preconstruction, finance, and executive leadership to strengthen the connection between project underwriting, forecasting, execution, and actual financial performance.
- Support and continuously improve the company's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework with emphasis on financial, operational, compliance, and strategic risks.
- Partner with executive leadership to incorporate risk considerations into forecasting, capital planning, systems implementation, and strategic initiatives.
- Serve as a key finance liaison supporting internal controls, audit readiness, governance initiatives, and Board reporting.
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate finance and operational processes across development, asset management, and design-build operations.
- Improve the accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness of financial and operational reporting provided to project teams, executive leadership, and the Board.
- Establish and maintain documentation, governance practices, and internal controls as systems and business processes evolve.
- Lead enterprise-wide reporting and analytics initiatives requiring coordination across finance, operations, IT, preconstruction, executive leadership, and external consultants.

Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field required.
- CPA, MBA, CFA, or other relevant professional certification preferred.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in financial systems, accounting, finance transformation, business analytics, or related fields.
- Experience leading or playing a significant role in enterprise financial systems implementations.
- Experience developing reporting dashboards and analytics using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, data governance, systems integration, and enterprise reporting architecture.
- Experience with enterprise risk management, internal controls, audit processes, or Board reporting strongly preferred.
- Experience within real estate development, construction, or other project-based industries highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage technology, automation, and AI to improve business processes and enterprise decision-making.
Safety Hazard of the Job
Normal safety hazards associated with office work, and with occasional observational visits to construction sites.
Physical Demands
Low physical effort required to sit, stand at files, bend, stoop, lift, and walk. Maximum unassisted lift is 35 lbs. Average lift is less than 10 lbs. Requires ability to use a keyboard and monitor. Also requires the ability to communicate verbally, both in person and on the telephone. May require some travel by car.
Environmental Requirements
Average inside office environment. Average office noise levels. No personal protective equipment is required. Ambient temperature is between 68F and 76F.
