Overview of the Accounting Clerk Role:

As an Accounting Clerk, you'll be an essential part of the team, managing daily financial tasks to ensure smooth operations. Key responsibilities for the Accounting Clerk include:

Processing Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
Distributing mail and ensuring correspondence reaches the appropriate departments.
Making daily deposits and managing incoming funds.
Reviewing vendor and tenant contracts, permits, and licenses for accuracy.
Answering client calls and providing exceptional service.
Processing tax-exempt forms and managing documentation.
Handling chargebacks and group billing inquiries.
Assisting with requests for proposals (RFPs) and ensuring timely responses.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Clerk:

1-2 years of experience in a similar Accounting Clerk role, ideally with a background in customer service.
Familiarity with PeopleSoft is a plus!
Basic proficiency in Excel for day-to-day tasks.
