Job Description

Desired Characteristics:

General Skills and Abilities:

Enterprise PDM (EPDM) or equivalent experience desired
Proficient with 2D & 3D solid modeling design software, Solidworks preferred. Surface modelling experience is a plus.
GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis skills preferred.
Experience with standard electrical and pneumatic hand tools for product research tasks
Willing to work from Wuxi, China facility
Strong command of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related;
3-5 years of experience in related with automotive safety restraint system, such as retractor, buckle, airbag. child car seat design preferred .
Experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) , and statistical analysis (SPC) practices
Strong theoretical calculation ability of mechanical structure
Knowledge of metal stamping and plastic injection molding technology
Strong ability to communicate in English and Mandarin Chinese
Available to support travel as needed for training, seminars, supplier and customer visits
