Geologist

EnSafe Inc. is an employee-owned global professional services firm specializing in environmental, engineering, health and safety, and technology solutions. EnSafe is seeking a Staff Geologist/Environmental Scientist/Engineer with experience to join our Concord, CA team.

As an Environmental Scientist/Engineer or Geologist you will work in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.

What You Will Be Doing:

Performing Phase I/II environmental site assessments
Preparation of work plans
Conducting site investigation activities (sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, vapor intrusion, soil gas, drinking water, and building materials)
Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permitting and/or registration; regulatory compliance evaluation and assessment; and preparation of plans and reports.
Field documentation
Assist in writing technical reports

Qualifications:

Requires a minimum of a BS (MS preferred) in Geology, Engineering, or Environmental Science
0-5 years of experience (previous internships are helpful)
Professional registration, certification, geotechnical, and/or geophysics experience are a plus
Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Programs including Word and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Local travel likely with occasional regional travel
