Administrative Coordinator / Scheduler

Mitigation & Construction Division

Location: Charleston, SC (in-office)

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

On-Call: Participation in the after-hours on-call rotation is required

Reports To: Carolyn McDaniel, Director of Administration

About the Role

ServiceMaster of Charleston is a disaster restoration and construction company serving homeowners and businesses across the Lowcountry. When property damage happens, our phones ring — and the person answering sets the tone for everything that follows.

We are hiring an Administrative Coordinator to answer incoming calls, schedule field technicians, and keep our Mitigation and Construction teams running on time. This is a fast-paced, people-heavy seat for someone who stays calm when things get loud.

What You'll Do

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and quickly

• Schedule and dispatch technicians across mitigation and construction jobs

• Support project managers and the sales team with day-to-day administrative needs

• Enter and maintain accurate job data in our company CRM

• Manage calendars, correspondence, and documentation in Microsoft Outlook

• Communicate updates to customers, adjusters, technicians, and managers

• Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergency calls

What We're Looking For

• Strong phone presence — clear, professional, and comfortable with high call volume

• Proven multitasker who can juggle competing priorities without dropping details

• Patience under pressure and the ability to work with a wide range of personalities

• Strong organizational skills and consistent follow-through

• Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook and quick to learn new software

• Dependable attendance and willingness to serve in an on-call rotation

• Prior scheduling, dispatch, restoration, or construction office experience is a plus
