As a Project Coordinator II you will be involved in the life cycle management, financial management and close out of a project to ensure completion to customer requirements within set deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assists the Project Manager in managing a portfolio of projects, coordinating with the customer, operations, general contractor and/or subcontractors
- Ensures accurate paperwork is maintained for each project and that all supporting documentation is compiled, stored and readily available for inspection or query
- Communicates with business partners on changes to work scope, and assists with change order requests; coordinate the permitting process, delivery of documents & drawings, scheduling of sub-contractors and timely invoicing of projects
- Engages with all relevant stakeholders proactively, including business partners, general contractors, customers and regulatory bodies that will have influence over project success
- Assists with the ordering/tracking and scheduling equipment and material deliveries, manpower and subcontractor labor, and preparing written documentation for customer correspondence, transmittals, reports, etc.
- Supports and promotes project safety by ensuring compliance with the project safety program and required owner safety policies
- Assists with project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensures project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated
- Provides input on equipment procurement methods and contracts to ensure efficient and effective project production
- Participates in work-in-progress meetings and prepares specific information regarding the status of all costs and schedules for projects
- Assists with project closeout procedures, finalizing contract paperwork, obtaining retainages and working with management to resolve any project claims
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to take accurate field measurements, take-offs, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office 365 products, internet, estimating software, etc.
- Ability to read an interpret jobsite drawings, blueprints, and maps
- Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages and discounts
- Ability to travel to job sites and visit customer locations in the SoCal area
- Valid CA Driver License and good driving record
