Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Project Manager to join our Project Delivery Systems team within the Project Services organization. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in delivery systems and tools. The successful candidate will leverage their project management experience and education to lead delivery tools and systems improvements.
Detailed Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for working with the Project Delivery Systems leader leveraging technical expertise and project management experience in leading the management of various project delivery tools and systems. In this position, you will collaborate with leadership across the company to implement and operationalize delivery tools and systems policies, processes, and training that bolster our project delivery teams and align with company objectives.
The ideal candidate will engage in change management through a continuous improvement model, driving the advancement of best-in-class project delivery tools and systems. In addition to strong technical skills in delivery tools and systems, the candidate should possess project management expertise and a solid understanding of business principles. Interpersonal and personal effectiveness skills are also essential. Our preferred candidate will demonstrate leadership qualities, effective communication, organizational capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to motivate and manage diverse stakeholder teams with a focus on enhancing operational performance. As a Project Delivery Systems Project Manager, primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and manage projects focused on the development and implementation of project delivery tools and systems aimed at improving workflow and efficiency for project delivery teams.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.
- Colloborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery tools and systems align with business process and operational needs.
- Develop and articulate business requirements to support project delivery tools and systems.
- Identify opportunities for improvements to workflows and processes to improve efficiency for project delivery teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Support change management processes, including training plans, communication and end-user support.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful project outcomes
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.
- Ability to successfully deploy and implement new processes, tools and systems across the organization.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- B.S. or M.S. in project management, computer science, information technology, business, engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of project management/design delivery.
- Minimum of increasingly responsible experience in public and private market sectors required.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate orally and in writing - across functions and teams, up and down the chain of command.
- Previously proven and successful project management experience as the lead.
- Healthy curiosity to dig into projects in search of delivery system limitations and to understand their impacts.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resources allocation, leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and written report preparation.
Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Location A: $131,000 - $179,000
