In this dual role, you'll wear two hats:
- Project Management: Lead and execute complex water projects, exceeding client expectations while meeting budget and schedule goals. You'll assemble top-notch teams, manage technical staff, and ensure exceptional quality deliverables.
- Client Service: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor who understands their needs and aligns them with BC's expertise. You'll contribute to business development efforts, ensuring our Atlanta office thrives.
In this role, you will work closely with our technical experts, project teams, and client service managers to advance our technical services and support business development on a wide variety of wastewater, drinking water and water resources projects in your local Atlanta market as well as the Southeast area.
We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of delivering work in the Atlanta market as well a desire to continue to help the firm build and foster long lasting client relationships.

Detailed Description:
In this role, you will utilize your expertise to manage and execute work on projects, help develop and sustain successful client relationships and provide support for marketing and proposals. Projects within the purview of this position will span from conceptual planning, across preliminary and final design, to construction phase support services for water, wastewater, and related facilities.

Role
- In this role you will serve as a Senior Project Manager and Client Service Manager for a wide variety of water and wastewater related projects within our Atlanta operation. You will work closely with our team of subject matter experts and design disciplines to deliver innovative water projects. Typical work areas might include:
- Lead major water and wastewater engineering projects with a goal of exceeding client expectations while meeting schedule and budget goals. This effort will include development of scopes and fees as well as assembling teams to execute projects.
- Delegate, sequence and oversee the work of technical staff and engineers performing planning and designs projects.
- Lead and assist with business development efforts including positioning, pursuits, and client management services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with while navigating and aligning the client’s needs with BC’s team of experts and resources.
- Engage in professional organizations and selectively present at conferences and professional meetings to further represent BC’s brand.
- Serve as a mentor to mid-level and rising professional staff.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of reports, memorandums, designs.
- Support the development of strategies for the water market sector in the Atlanta market.
- Lead client and internal meetings to advance project work as an effective communicator.
- Prepare written reports and technical memorandums to document analyses and recommendations.
- Participate in office work groups and organizations to benefit the company’s knowledge of issues and to understand client needs.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- M.S. or B.S. degree in civil or environmental engineering with experience in the design and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects. Engineers with other degrees such as Chemical or Mechanical may be considered if they have strong experience in municipal water and wastewater treatment facility planning and design.
- Demonstrated strong project management skills. Experience managing and delivering water system and/or treatment related planning and design projects in the role as a project manager is preferred.
- Successful marketing, proposal writing, proposal management, and public presentations experience a plus.
- Successful record of delivering projects on schedule, budget and meeting the client’s expectations. Ability to provide oversight and guidance of project management fundamentals.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and written report preparation.
- P.E. or ability to obtain a P.E in Georgia is required.
- 10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in related experience in drinking water and/or wastewater planning, design, and implementation
- Strong written communication skills and experience producing technical reports.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Some travel within the Atlanta metro area will be required to attend client meetings and visit project sites
Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Salary: $141,000 - $193,000
