Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has an opening for a contingent full-time Material Expediter II in National City, CA.

Position Summary: Responsible for the accurate tracking and reporting of project materials status for all product lines. The Material Expediter locates and tracks current status materials and parts from the initial Purchase Request through the final receipt and issue of the materials to the project according to pre-determined schedules and priorities.

Duties & Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To)

Acts as liaison between the Production Management, the Purchasing Department and Receiving ensuring the timely delivery project materials.
Reviews JML, Purchase Requisitions and Orders to develop Bi-weekly/Tri- Weekly Materials Status Reports to each project detailing Late, Due, Long Lead Time, Critical and Emergent Materials with order status and estimated delivery dates (EDD).
Confers with Project and Program Managers to identify overdue materials impacting schedule and to inform them of the location and availability of these materials.
Contacts suppliers for Critical, Long Lead Time and Emergent materials to confirm EDD and endeavors to improve delivery dates.
Identifies potential delays or issues and notifies the Purchasing Manager and respective Program/Project Managers of material delivery disruptions.
Interacts with Receiving to verify shipments are received in accordance with EDD and that materials and quantities are correct.

Qualifications

High school diploma/equivalent.
3-5 years’ experience.
Must have general proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Familiarity with search engines and other Internet resources.
Must have the ability to obtain government base access.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Flexibility to be able to support changing priorities and needs.
Ability to do basic math, i.e. add, subtract, divide and multiply.
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
Attention to detail.
Listening skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, use time most effectively, and organize tasks efficiently.
Confidence and initiative.

Pay Range

The pay range for this is $23.00 to $30.00 per hour. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education and experience.

Regular communication (hearing/speaking).
Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk.
Noise conditions range from very quiet to moderate.
