EnSafe is accepting applications for an EHS Contractor Coordinator /Operations Assistant based out of EnSafe’sclient site in East Hartford, CT.

What We Are Looking For

As an EHS Contract Coordinator / Operation Assistant, you will work on various projects in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. What You Will Be Doing:

EHS Contractor Coordinator:

Verify/assist with Vendor Approval in ISN
Verify badging paperwork for building access/security.
Perform walks/evaluations with contractors for bidding on work
Grant monthly access to vendors, visitors, escorts
Work with the cell leader to schedule service
Coordinate with EHS, and Fire Department for work permits
Manage contractor safety aspects during projects (collect JHAs, verify training, perform pre-job safety assessments, monitor job safety)
Maintain contracted work list and calendar
Maintain machine cleaning list
Maintain contractor Purchase Order balance list for specific contractors
Coordinate regulated waste pickups
Maintain PPE inventory
Complete hoist requests
Miscellaneous administrative support, when needed
Business metrics data management
SAP Plant Maintenance reporting
EHS Management of Change Administration
Daily project walkarounds
Coordinate and attend department ACE initiatives (6S, TPM, Benchmarking, etc.)

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree is preferred
Construction and Industry Safety experience
- OSHA 30 Construction and General Industry preferred
- 1-3 years of related experience
1-5 years of SAP experience is preferred.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic
Flexible and adaptable to client needs
