We are looking for an Office Leader to join our Pensacola, FL team.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and guidance to Destin and Pensacola, Florida offices, aligning their objectives with the company's vision, guiding principles, and strategic plan.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the offices, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources, adherence to project schedules, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage a diverse team of professionals, including engineers, designers, technicians, surveyors and support staff, to create a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Strengthen a culture of superpower responsiveness through successful delivery of high quality services and proactive internal and external client communications.
Promote OWN by being a brand champion internally and externally.
Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, expand market share (public and private), be highly involved in the community, and increase profitability.
Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, pursuing leads, and preparing proposals and presentations to secure new projects and contracts.
Demonstrate superpower responsiveness across all divisions within the Destin and Pensacola offices.
Work with Regional and Division Leaders to develop growth strategies.
Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed within budget and meet profitability targets.
Establish a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation within the office, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing among team members.
Recruit and maintain a consistent pipeline of talent for the Destin and Pensacola offices.
Grow and develop teams; expand service offerings.
Cultivate working relationships with other office locations.
Collaborate with other office leaders and senior management to align strategies, share resources, and leverage synergies across the organization.
Work with Business Development and Marketing teams to develop project strategies.
Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and competitiveness within the office.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the office's performance, achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
Create a culture of safety by providing a workplace that is safe for all employees.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications are advantageous.
Proven experience in a leadership role within the civil engineering industry, preferably in a consulting firm environment.
Strong technical expertise in one or more disciplines of civil engineering, such as land development, infrastructure, or structural engineering.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with a client-focused mindset and the ability to establish and maintain strong client partnerships.
Demonstrated success in business development, including a track record of acquiring and managing key client accounts.
Solid understanding of project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Strong business acumen, with the ability to make informed decisions that align with the office's financial and strategic goals.
Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and drive effective resolutions.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and responsibilities concurrently.
Proficient in utilizing technology and software relevant to the civil engineering field and office operations.
Willingness to travel occasionally to client meetings, project sites, and other company locations.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
