Warehouse Clerk (Shipping and Receiving)

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for pulling parts to fulfill customers’ orders, prepares and generates invoices

and prepares the part orders for delivery. The warehouse clerk executes cycle counts and additional duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Primary Responsibility, Scope of Work, KPI Management, complexity: Reasonable

accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential

functions.

Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders.

Pulls materials and parts and places orders in delivery area.

Prepares invoices for parts orders.

Interacts with drivers and drives if necessary.

Organize drivers’ routes according to filled orders.

Processes all invoices received from drivers.

Performs cycle counts and participates in annual Inventory Audit activities.

Reconciles actual stock count to computer generated reports.

Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods.

Re-stocks items as necessary

Processes and document returns as required following established procedures

Monitors and maintains current inventory level.

Processes purchasing orders as required.

Performs routine housekeeping tasks to maintain area clean.

Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and workstations

organized and neat.

Maintains clean shipping supply area.

Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Conform to all safety rules and use of appropriate safety equipment.

All other duties assigned.

5. Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne

particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be

loud.

6. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional overtime may be required.

Travel

There is no travel required with this position although may be asked to travel to help with inventory once

a year in our other locations.
