Position Summary

As an Assistant Controller, you will manage and execute the month-end close process—including reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and analysis—for a portfolio of clients. Working closely with the team’s Controller and Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial insights and solving client challenges. This is a full-cycle accounting role with direct client interaction. It’s ideal for a self-starter who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments and enjoys tackling complex problems. You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to special client projects and participate in ongoing training designed to accelerate your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and perform month-end close activities for assigned clients
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and clarity
Collaborative with Controllers and Staff Accountants to deliver high-quality client service
Identify and resolve accounting issues, providing proactive solutions
Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
Minimum 3 years of general ledger accounting experience, including closing books and preparing financial statements
Proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting software preferred
