Accounting Assistant

The Part-Time Administrative Assistant supports management by greeting clients/visitors, answering phones, supporting the Office Administrator which can include sorting, filing, and assisting with any special projects as needed. This position could eventually lead to a full-time position.

They will also be responsible for ensuring onboarding and new hire documents have been completed properly. Experience with an strong background in Excel, Word, and Outlook would be required.

Essential Functions

Oversee all aspects of general office coordination with a strong ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and corporate information.

Interact with employees, vendors and visitors.

Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member.

Open, sort and distribute incoming mail.

Sign for and distribute UPS/FedEx/USPS or similarly delivered packages.

Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, Employee Onboarding, Payroll, AP & AR, Credit Card Reconciliation, Zoho Expense, Time Keeping system, and background checks.

File and retrieve organizational documents, records and reports.

Light duty housekeeping.

Other duties as assigned by Administrator.

Minimum Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.

Education: High school diploma required.

Experience: At least five (5) years' experience in accounting and general office responsibilities and procedures.
