BIM Technician Assistant

Overview:
The BIM Technician Assistant provides administrative support and services to the Pre-Construction and Project Support team.

Essential Functions:

1. Modeling (90%):

Provides BIM / CAD design and modeling support.
Assists BIM project team with content creation.
Assists with software deployment, documentation, and troubleshooting.
Performs tasks such as file archiving and uploading, laser engraving, generating QR-codes, scanning and printing labels and large format drawings.
Organize, track, and maintain department files, drawings, materials, documents, and correspondence.
Maintain all internal and external project files on the network and Procore.

2. Performs other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned (10%).

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
No related experience required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required. Experience with Autodesk/Revit preferred.

Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, or other related software.
Able to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
Able to work in a team and independently when required.
Able to quickly learn and utilize company-specific techniques, standards, and procedures.
Able to follow department standards, methods, and best practices.

Work Environment:

Office environment.

Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
